Boodborne Pathogens and AIDS Awareness
This 4 hour program is designed for all medical personnel or anyone in the workforce that may come in contact with blood or other body fluids. This course is designed to help the employee and employer understand their risks, responsibilities, and legal requirements. Participants will learn about the risks of occupational exposure to respiratory and blood borne diseases and details on how to minimize these risks with the use of barrier devices. We offer blood borne pathogen training through the AHA or through the Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI) American College of Emergency Physicians. Upon successful completion of the course the participant will be issued a completion card good for one year.
