These programs provide the framework to help the individual rescuer gain the required knowledge to assess and treat cardiovascular, respiratory, and traumatic emergencies. This is the same accredited program we teach at colleges, hospitals, and private organizations; designed for the general public. We teach effective procedures to properly stabilize wounds, control bleeding, airway management, and CPR in the adult, child, and infant. Other topics include shock, diabetic emergencies, drowning, seizures, and an assortment of other medical and injury related emergencies. In addition, we will familiarize the participant with how local emergency systems respond to an incident and how you can better react. Upon completion of the course participants will receive an AHA First Aid/CPR card good for two years.
